Based on Isaac Asimov’s classic sci-fi series, Journey to Foundation reaches PC VR next month.

Developed by Archiact, Journey to Foundation is a narrative-focused VR sci-fi adventure. Previously released on Quest, Pico and PSVR 2 in October, you play as Agent Ward, who possesses unique Mentalic abilities that lets them sense and manipulate the emotions of others. Every choice "carries a consequence and affects your story."

Now arriving on Steam, Archiact confirmed Journey to Foundation's PC VR port is largely identical to the other editions but with updated visuals and spatial audio. It includes Gamma settings, high-resolution textures & lighting, and native 90 FPS performance. Support is also promised for Valve Index, Meta headsets, Pico headsets, and HTC Vive headsets.

By comparison, the PSVR 2 version includes specific features like headset haptic feedback that activates when using Ward's abilities. Eye-tracking lets you select conversational choices by glancing at them and pressing X, while weapons promise different feels through adaptive triggers and force feedback. 4K resolution with HDR support is also supported.

Journey To Foundation reaches PC VR on June 7. Elsewhere, it's available now on the Meta Quest platform, PSVR 2 and Pico 4.
