Tethered Is Coming To Vive, Rift and PS4 Pro With Motion Controller Support

Still one of the better games for Sony’s PlayStation VR headset, Secret Sorcery’s Tethered [ Review: 7/10 ] will soon be landing on other platforms. The UK-based developer this month confirmed that Tethered is on its way to both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on PC. A full release date hasn’t been confirmed, but the new versions of the game will support the Oculus Touch and Vive wand controllers respectively.

Volumetric video specialists 8i have announced their latest series B funding round has netted them a further $27 while also unveiling Holo, a mixed reality video app, powered by Google’s Tango technology. We first reported on 8i back in 2015 , when they unveiled their 360 volumetric video capture system, capable of capturing imagery and data from different viewpoints and stitching them back together in realtime, allowing the video to be viewed from different angles.

Critical ‘Robinson: The Journey’ Steam Bug Gets Patched

Robinson: The Journey’s recent Steam release got off to a rocky start with a fatal bug which prevented players from even starting the game. Today, a 140MB patch from Crytek appears to have fixed the problem.
