After a long time with my lovely Unity 2019.4 LTS, I have decided it was time to switch to something new, not to miss the new features that Unity has implemented these years. I have so started using Unity 2021.3 LTS (2021.3.5 to be exact) and experimenting with it. One of the new features offered by the new Unity is the ability of building OpenXR applications , and I wanted absolutely to test it!

The Game Kitchen , developers behind action-platformer Blasphemous (2019), launched a Kickstarter this week that promises to let you play any board game in VR. Called All on Board!, the game presents a unique licensing structure that lets you buy full board games and play them in VR. Only one user needs to have a game license, just like playing a physical version of the game.

This Monday, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) development studio XR Games announced the acquisition of roughly £5.9 million in funding.
