Napster. Now there’s a name you haven’t heard in a few years… or more likely decades. Now, immersive web company Infinite Reality announced it’s acquired the brand for $207 million. Having just closed a $3 billion investment in January, Immersive Reality says the Napster music streaming service will soon include a“social music platform” that will includebranded 3D virtual spaces for virtual concerts and listening parties.

Roboquest VR shows promise with compelling FPS roguelike mechanics, and we recently previewed the PC VR version. Out of Flat2VR Studios' six upcoming games, Roboquest VR is easily my most anticipated title yet. I'll admit that I wasn't familiar with the flatscreen Roboquest before last year's announcement , yet the comic book-inspired art style and roguelike gameplay immediately had me intrigued.

Meta canceled a System Shock 2 VR port, alongside "a ton of projects", the remaster studio head says, but development could be "restarted" in the future. A 25th anniversary remaster of the cult classic 1999 PC action role-playing survival game is set to launch in June on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. But according to a Bluesky post from the head of the studio behind the remaster, Stephen Kick, a VR version "for Oculus" was canceled.
