IRIS VR today launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for LOW-FI , an atmospheric cyberpunk virtual reality game and so-called spiritual successor to TECHNOLUST (2016). Low-Fi is now on Kickstarter , aiming to raise roughly $45,000 ($60,000 CAD) in 30 days for an ambitious VR title. The game is set in a cyberpunk world from the mind of creator Blair Renaud; he doesn’t hide his inspirations, saying much is drawn from “great cyberpunk, noir, and sci-fi works” like Blade

When Carbon Studio released The Wizards in 2018 the virtual reality (VR) title offered decent fantasy gameplay, with its main feature being gesture-based spells. The main downside was the feeling it was merely an advanced wave-shooter, locking you in locations to kill a set number of monsters before moving on. The studio has taken all this feedback on board for its next instalment in the franchise The Wizards – Dark Times.

Having brought Borderlands 2 VR to PlayStation VR for Christmas 2018, Gearbox Software is now planning on releasing the title for PC virtual reality (VR) headsets this Autumn. As for the PlayStation VR version, fans will see a massive update arrive later this week packed full of content. Revealing details as part of PAX West, Gearbox Software will be releasing the ‘Bad Ass Mega Fun’ pack for PlayStation VR this Friday, 6th September 2019.
