Last week I have taken part in the WCVRI exhibition in Nanchang, China. We of New Technology Walkers have taken there our MR fitness game HitMotion: Reloaded , and made hundreds of people try it. It has been the first time for me having a booth in a so distant and different country like China, and I have learned lots of lessons in the process. To celebrate the launch of its latest Pixel phone and reaffirm its commitment to AR, Google has hidden a secret AR advertisement on the retail box of the Pixel 4 that, when scanned using Google Lens, unlocks a unique 2D animation complete with a message welcoming you to #teampixel. The AR overlay then presents you with a collection of images captured using Pixel devices as well as a call-to-action instructing you to follow Pixel on Instagram.

Virtual reality (VR) developer Labrodex Studios is currently in the process of working on the second title in its Scraper series, Scraper: Gauntlet, a first-person shooter (FPS). While work is underway to release the title by the end of 2019, the studio has given VRFocus an exclusive look at the artwork and design process.
