MeganeX, the SteamVR-compatible headset from Panasonic’s Shiftall, made its big debut back at CES 2020, and after years of iterations shown at various trade shows, the company says it’s finally nearing launch. Shiftall is set to sell two flavors of MeganeX, a consumer version priced at $1,699 and a Business Edition, the pricing of which is still to be determined.

During Computex 22, AMD showcased its updated CPU roadmap going through 2024, which yielded some exciting propositions to the desktop processor market. One of those products highlighted was a new 3D V-Cache SKU based on Zen 4 cores, and with the success of its previous Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96 MB of 3D stacked V-Cache, gamers have been chomping at the bit for more ever since.

Sony has announced that the latest title in its longstanding racing franchise, Gran Turismo 7 , will support PSVR 2 at launch. This week during Sony’s CES 2023 conference, the company announced that Gran Turismo 7 will support PSVR 2 at the headset’s launch via a free upgrade for existing owners. Initially released in 2021, Hitman 3’s VR support was originally PSVR exclusive at launch, before jumping to PC VR exactly one year later. Credible reports of an Apple AR/VR headset on the horizon emerged in 2021 from The Information , Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, and supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The Information now claims to have interviewed multiple Apple staffers who have worked on the project to confirm previously reported claims and discover new unreported details.
