Defrost is one of the first Virtual Reality series , but to be honest, it seems to me more a movie divided into different scenes. There are 12 episodes , and every one of them lasts something like 5 minutes.

Available now for download in the Magic Leap World section, the app is a free download that allows you to enter the world of Game of Thrones in augmented reality for the first time.

Simulator fans know the score: despite offering less pixel-dense displays than traditional monitor setups, there’s not much else besides VR that will let you step into (and haphazardly wreck) exotic luxury cars, fighter jets, and even your very own sci-fi spaceship. To that tune, indie developers Tinker Pilot Team have announced an ambitious new project that aims to let users import their own 3D digital objects into their upcoming space flight sim.

Secret Location , developers behind Blasters of the Universe (2017), today announced they’ve brought their Philip K. Dick inspired VR experience, The Great C (2018) , to Oculus Go, Samsung Gear VR and Google Daydream. The 37-minute sci-fi adventure experience is now available for $6 across all platforms, including versions available on Steam (Vive, Rift) and the Oculus Store (Rift, Go, Gear VR), and Google Play ( Daydream ).

With $100 million in grant funding already available to developers via its MegaGrants program, Epic Games is sweetening the pot with some gear for Magic Leap developers. At last week's Unreal Engine Build: Detroit '19 event, Epic Games announced that it would supply Magic Leap One headsets, which retail for $2,295, free of charge to a limited number of developers working on spatial computing apps in Unreal Engine.

It wasn’t clear last week whether Cyan, the makers of iconic puzzle adventure games Myst (1993) and Riven (1997), would be able to make up the remaining Kickstarter funds for their next VR-compatible title, Firmament. Miraculously the studio was able to rally support for the game in the final hours. Firmament is coming. A total of 18,420 backers pledged $1,433,161 to the project, placing it over the $1,285,000 goal by a fair margin.
