Advertising is AR’s top revenue category. It brought in $453 million last year, growing to $8.8 billion by 2023 according to ARtillery Intelligence. This includes AR lenses in social apps which attract brand advertisers with high performance.

But how is it all coming together, and who’s doing what? These will be the topics tackled at AWE NITE SF’s September meetup. The event will go deep with exemplars of AR advertising and commerce. That includes speakers from 8th Wall, Microsoft and others to be announced soon.

AWE Nite SF, for those unfamiliar, is the local meetup version of AWE EXPO. Like its parent’s leading position in the world of AR mega-events, AWE Nite SF is the mother of AR meetups. And SF represents the first in what has become a global network of AWE Nite chapters.

As a bonus, AR Insider is a production partner of the event and often dispatches writers and analysts to host/emcee the program. The latter won’t be the case for September’s event but we do have special perks for AR Insider readers. Contact us for a comp code to attend.

And just for fun, here’s the video of last month’s AWE Nite SF as a teaser for what to expect in the (differently themed) September meetup. There will be lots of knowledge and networking to gain.
