I didn’t want to remember Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg the way I knew I would be told to remember her.
People who admire her, like I do, have had a 24/7 media infusion available to instruct and to provoke emotions and fears. I declined the option. I wanted to reflect on my own and then talk about her appreciatively with others when I was ready.
