I’m here to attend the WCVRI , a very big event about Virtual Reality in China, where I am exhibiting HitMotion: Reloaded , the mixed reality fitness game of my agency New Technology Walkers ( contact us if you need some VR development!). Project North Star is an opensource reference design for a wide-FOV augmented reality headset that Leap Motion (now Ultraleap ) has given to the community. Keep in mind that Magic Leap One has a diagonal FOV of 50° and you realize why the word “only” is between quotes. North Star AR headset.

Rony Abovitz steps down from Magic Leap CEO. This was a very good thing and attracted many people to Magic Leap. I hope that Magic Leap will benefit from it and will recover pretty soon. 3 Headsets come from China with love. This week we had the announcement of 3 headsets from China.

It is an augmented reality glass that is being developed in China by a former Magic Leap engineer. The other AR company to follow is for sure RealMax, that at CES has launched the RealMax Qian , another very interesting AR headset from China. In my opinion, Nreal has been one of the biggest AR reveal of this CES.
