The trailer for Baz Luhrmann's Elvis is here, and it's a lot.

We get our first glance at Austin Butler's portrayal of Elvis Presley, complete with his trademark drawl and glorious, fervor-inducing hip-shimmying. Snippets of Elvis classics — sung by Butler — accompany scenes of his performances, shot in Luhrmann's larger-than-life style.

But it's not all fun and games. The biopic also examines Elvis's complicated relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), spanning over 20 years of the rock star's life.

Elvis hits theaters June 24.
