Arizona Sunshine Is Coming To PSVR In June With Aim Support

Update: Well that was quick. Minutes after posting this story, a PlayStation Blog post confirmed Arizona Sunshine hits PSVR in June with PlayStation Aim support. Enjoy!

PlayStation VR (PSVR) owners are constantly asking for bigger and better games to show off their headset with, and it looks like they might soon get a big one: Vertigo Games’ Arizona Sunshine.

The developer’s Twitter account just dropped the below tweet, showcasing the game’s zombies forming the PlayStation DualShock controller’s iconic face buttons. The developer didn’t provide any other details, though one of the official PlayStation Twitter accounts picked it up, which is a pretty good indication that the game’s on its way to PSVR. We’ve reached out to Vertigo Games to find out more.

Console support has always been in the works for Arizona Sunshine, though given the hardware limitations of the console and headset, not every PC VR game always makes the transition successfully. It’s a relief to see the developer doubling down on the support, then.

Arizona Sunshine was our Game of the Year 2016 winner, so PSVR owners certainly have something to look forward to. The first-person shooter (FPS), features a full single-player campaign in which players take on hordes of zombies, as well as co-op options too. We’ve love to see the game support Sony’s new Aim controller, which is releasing alongside Farpoint next week, but nothing’s been confirmed yet.

Stay tuned for more on Arizona Sunshine on PSVR.
