I have seen the ODG R9, HoloLens and the Meta in controlled demos and so far only the HoloLens comes close to magic. And I mean actual magic – not the VC Kool-Aid-drinking Magic-Leap magic. Field of view is nice and wide on the Meta 2—but I’ll take narrow field of view with rock-solid tracking all day.
