SAVE UP TO 38%: Get the best AirPods out there (let's face it, the AirPods Max don't count as AirPods) for a discount. The AirPods Pro are on sale for $174 at Amazon, so you're shaving 30% off their regular price of $249, and the second-generation AirPods are just $99, which is 38% less than their usual $159.

It's time for another price drop: the AirPods Pro, which were last on sale around Valentine's Day, are back at the same prices — $15 above their Black Friday deal, but still a hefty $75 discount. If boo didn't get you a pair for V-Day, it's time to treat yourself.

Ok, so the AirPods Pro are a bit older (and the second-generation AirPods even more so), having debuted a good two and a half years ago, but oldies are goodies, and honestly, 2019 was the last time Apple really added anything groundbreaking to their AirPods launches anyways. The 2021 third-generation AirPods are fine, but don't have noise cancellation (the selling point of the Pros when they were first released, and that continues to be a pretty big plus now), and offer few significant upgrades. Plus, they cost $179, which is more than the AirPods Pro with their current discount.

And those Pros offer customizable fit with three silicone ear tip sizes, up to 4.5 hours of listening time (more than 24 with the case), and Active Noise Cancellation, which not only blocks out outside noise, but does so by canceling it out with anti-noise before you even hear it. (There's Transparency mode, of course, if you want to let the outside world in.)

The second-generation AirPods aren't too shabby either — for those whose ears just reject silicone ear tips (🙋‍♀️) no matter the size, they're a reliable fall-back option. They have the same audio quality one would expect of Apple, with up to five hours of listening time (also more than 24 with the case) and force sensors embedded into the earpiece (tap to play, pause, or skip). The newer third-gen AirPods are a more direct upgrade of these, being water-proof and supporting spatial audio, but they're also nearly twice the sale price, so if you aren't planning on chucking your charging case into the pool and aren't too fussed about hearing music differently as you move your head around, the second-gen earphones are the better deal.

Whether you're an Apple stan or just a casual consumer, the AirPods of any generation are a pretty good choice for audio accessories, but they're a particularly good one at sale prices. Check out the AirPods Pro for $174 at Amazon, or the second-generation AirPods for less than $100.
