Baahubali is one of India’s biggest films, and it is getting a sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion , which is one of the most technologically sophisticated films ever made. The filmmakers were re-creating an entire ancient kingdom across 200 acres of land for their film setting. I thought we had to get it all into VR.

Plus, they're all included with an Amazon Prime membership, so you don't need any additional subscriptions in order to watch them. The cast manage to fool viewers as much as each other, and even the film’s quietest scenes thrum with energy. They're the perfect match for this film, which is itself the perfect vacation thriller.

OTT overload in India: One pie; many forking it: So, yet another OTT platform launches in India – Amazon PrimeVideo. I’d also wager, it’ll come down to a square off between Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu, with other local players out of the game, or operating under the big three supervision.

OTT overload in India: One pie; many forking it: Yet another OTT platform launched in India – Amazon PrimeVideo. Some of these platforms might soon shut shop, I’d imagine, given they are all digging into the same pie – India’s emerging digital generation. That’s an easy one.

This brings up the question: Why aren’t the OTT apps offering stereoscopic 3D versions of films when available, that are perfect for such immersive viewing platforms?
