Save 50%: As of April 12, the Amazon Fire 7 Kids Pro and Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablets are 50% off, dropping them to $49.99 and $69.99 respectively. Ordering quickly secures delivery by Easter.

Following yesterday's sale on regular Fire tablets (which is still live), Amazon put two sizes of its best kids tablets on sale for half off. Now, both are less than $70: Grab the Fire 7 Kids Pro for $49.99 or the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro for $69.99. Ordering quickly can lock in delivery by Easter, but they'd also make great gifts for the end of the school year.

Amazon's Pro tablets are some of the best kid-specific tablets on the market. They keep the most recognizable features of Amazon's original kids tablets: those colorful, durable cases (now slimmer and with patterns) and the two-year worry-free guarantee that gets you a new tablet if something happens to the old one. A year of Fire Kids+ (typically $2.99/month) comes free with your purchase, too, unlocking over 20,000 apps, games, books, videos, songs, Audible books, and educational content from National Geographic, Lego, and more.

Compared to the older models, the Pro tablets feature snappy quad-core processors that can handle a slew of open tabs, apps, a Zoom call, and more. Expandable storage has also received a bump — up to 512 GB for the 7 and up to 1 TB for the HD 8. The HD 8 also brings along 2 GB of RAM.
