Someone invokes saviors like Google and Amazon, but even if they managed to succeed, they are other data-harvesting companies , so in any case, we are f**ked. Apple threatens future support in Unreal Engine. On Reddit, the news has had an insane amount of upvotes (more than 10K) with all negative comments. The same on Twitter.

Eye tracking is, in my opinion, a technology that will disrupt completely the VR ecosystem , exactly as room-scale did with the first HTC Vive. FOV: >110° (adapted to HTC Vive). Does your device works only with HTC Vive or is it also compatible with Rift, WMR, etc…? aGlass DKII is compatible with HTC Vive and Vive Pro.

The German auto manufacturer evaluates design features in virtual reality before building prototypes in actual reality, using the famous high-quality physics-based rendering power of Unreal for the game engine and using the HTC Vive for the VR hardware. AMAZON MIGHT OPEN AR SHOPPING STORES.

No grey zones like HTC did in the past. Unity should anyway be the first engine partner, something that doesn’t surprise me considering the litigation between Apple and Epic Games, the company behind Unreal Engine. But there is not only Samsung: XR2 Gen 2 is going to be integrated also by Immersed’s Visor, a new HTC Vive headset, a YVR headset in China, and a headset that is still undisclosed. First of all, it revealed that, according to analyst firm IDC, XREAL owns 51% of the augmented reality market.

HTC Vive is at the second place; Oculus Quest, even if it is so new, has already gathered a lot of interest from developers; Gaming is still the most popular content developed in XR, but now there is also interest in other kinds of applications , like entertainment (e.g. Amazon thinks using AR for its delivery agents. That is huge.
