SAVE $99.01: As of July 19, the 2021 Apple iPad mini (WiFi, 64GB) is on sale at Best Buy for an all-time low price of $399.99. It usually retails for $499, so this saves you 20%.

Props to anyone who held off on buying Apple's 2021 iPad mini on Amazon when it went on sale for Prime Day: It just got even cheaper at Best Buy.

The 64GB model with just WiFi was listed for only $399.99 there as of July 19. (Bonus: It comes with a couple free months of Apple Music, Apple News+, and Apple TV+ for new or returning subscribers.) That's 20% off its suggested retail price of $499 and a match of June's all-time low on Amazon, where it's currently sold out in every color.

  • Its pretty all-screen design is perfect for reading and playing games

  • The Touch ID sensor that's built into its top power button (which facilitated that all-screen design) is super convenient

  • Its A15 Bionic chip is speedy

  • Its 12-megapixel selfie camera has Center Stage, a feature that keeps you in frame during video calls

  • It supports the second-generation Apple Pencil

The iPad mini's only notable flaws are its meh battery life and lack of a headphone jack (boo), but neither were problematic enough to stop Schroeder from granting it a Mashable's Choice Award. Overall, he said, it's "[the] best iPad if you value portability."
