This VR Dating Sim Reads Brainwaves To Choose Your Ideal Girl

Kawaii on the streets, Senpai in the sheets…

Dating simulators have proven to be a massively popular genre in gaming. Hell, some people go as far as marrying their virtual girlfriends. Oh you think I’m kidding? With this kind of popularity it comes as no surprise that dating simulators for virtual reality are poised to explode. Well we now have word about an upcoming title that not only lets you wine n’ dine a lovely digital lady, but introduces some technology that should make choosing that special someone a whole lot easier.

In Noha Love Checker (“Brainwave Love Checker”) players dawn a VR headset equipped with special sensors and are thrown into a romantic date with a beautiful young lady of their choosing. Actually, that last part may be a little deceiving. You see, Noha Love Checker utilizes a special brainwave-reading sensor combined with a “sensibility grasp algorithm” to read your emotional responses and choose your ideal girl for you. So you don’t directly choose the girl, so much as your brain does for you.

The sensors and special algorithm read and analyze the user, keeping track of heightened excitement and anxiety when presented with the three datable women. The system then chooses the most impactful female and places you in a date with your newly discovered soulmate. It’s 60% creepy, 40% technologically fascinating.

No word yet on which developers will support the ambitious title, but after being present at this years Tokyo Game Show, you can expect lots of more information soon.
