Benedict Cumberbatch appeared on BBC Radio One's Unpopular Opinion segment with Greg James, responding to some of the UK's most niche, wacky, and interesting opinions.

Among the questions asked: Do frozen chips need to be cooked? And amongst the unpopular opinions: "I like the smell of cow manure." Each to their own.

But the most entertaining portion came when a viewer said, "I can't understand Ariana Grande when she sings."

Cumberbatch then turned to the host to play some of Grande's biggest hits, while he noticeably bopped along and tried to decipher what the superstar singer is actually saying.

"Something about a cat in an elevator?" he guessed for one.

Luckily for Grande fans, he described her as "incredible" and possessing "raw talent". We can't argue there.
