SAVE $80: Looking for effective noise-canceling earbuds? The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are at the top of the pack. You can grab a pair on sale for $199 at Walmart and Amazon as of June 14 — that's 29% in savings.

For noise cancellation snobs who prefer earbuds over headphones, it doesn't get much better than the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. But the price tag is quite the deterrent at $279 — more than well-known competitors like the AirPods Pro and Beats Fit Pro.

If your heart is set on the Bose QC Earbuds, you'll be happy to know you can save $80 on these top-tier buds at Walmart and Amazon, bringing the price down to just $199. That's 29% in savings and right on par with their lowest price to date. The sale price applies to the black and soapstone color options while they're in stock. With quick, one-day shipping available at both retailers, you could even snatch this deal up in time for a last-minute Father's Day gift.

While a bit bulkier than AirPods, the QC Earbuds are surprisingly comfortable after some configuration and almost unnoticeable during long listening sessions. You'll get multiple eartip options to find your perfect fit, but they'll take a few extra seconds to put in your ear and get the proper seal.

The sound profile is the true standout, though. As Mashable tech reporter Alex Perry noted, the audio output is so top notch that it's more reminiscent of "high-end headphones like the Bose NC700s or the Microsoft Surface Headphones than any pair of earbuds." And that crystal clarity is only made better by the "nearly perfect active noise cancellation."

You can control the ANC through the Bose mobile app for iOS or Android and adjust a slider between zero and 10. Or you can double-tap the left bud for easy toggling between presets. The other earbud pauses and plays tracks with a double-tap.

While battery life isn't anything to write home about (up to six hours, or up to 12 with the included charging case), the sound and comfort of the QC Earbuds (hence the name) won't disappoint — especially at a more affordable, discounted cost.
