I’m pretty sure that Sony is waiting the next few months to make some moves, there’s still the Black Friday and the Christmas Holiday that have to happen, but at the moment I do not see this device as disruptive to our ecosystem.

The next versions of the glasses are expected for 2026 and 2028. HTC Vive is going to launch… a box. HTC is teasing the launch of a new device : from the picture, it seems a box that can connect with Vive Trackers , maybe aimed at virtual productions for professionals. HTC implements OpenXR on the Vive Focus 3.
