Like Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ (2004), Jesus VR was filmed in Matera, Italy under the direction of Passion executive producer Enzo Sisti. Father William Fulco, a religious adviser on the 2004 depiction of the life and death of Jesus, also signed on as to consult for Jesus VR. Funding to Build “Global VR Studio”.

In addition to Facebook launching a dedicated VR app for Samsung Gear VR , high-end video platform Vimeo has announced Vimeo 360. Since 2004, Vimeo has fought to preserve its identity as a home for high-end, artistic content. Vimeo 360 is here, and it’s more than just 360 video functionality.

A VR-capable version of Minecraft (supporting multiplayer with the non-VR version) interestingly launched first on Samsung’s Gear VR headset (which runs Oculus software) back in 2016, though the game still hasn’t been brought to the newer Oculus Go or Oculus Quest. InXile – The Mage’s Tale.

I’ll be looking forward to checking out Augmented Empire in my review when it launches next week, and hope the tactical ‘cover-and-shoot’ system can hold my attention even if Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager (1995) and Ed from Shaun of the Dead (2004) are personally charming additions.

In 2004, both companies went back to the negotiating table as Intel wanted to integrate Nvidia’s IP inside Larrabee and future integrated processor graphics, while Nvidia wanted to build chipsets for Intel processors. Nvidia made its AMD-based nForce chipset to run on Intel, and both companies signed an agreement.

Going back in AMD’s history we can see just how long various platforms have lasted, from first processor launch to last processor launch: Socket 939 from 2004 to 2006. We’re only just on the transition to DDR5, and DDR6 is a long way away – in a recent Samsung presentation, for example, it listed DDR6 as a 2028 technology.
