When I started my doctoral work at NYU in 2002, I was trying to understand the contemporary, real-world applications of haptics technology. I graphed the uptick at one point based on Google Scholar results, and the results are really striking. We’re seeing a lot of resources devoted to figuring out how to use this technology.
