This may have been the shortest month of the year, but February 2021 has been a month full of wonderful Zapworks webinars and awesome AR activations going live!

Whilst our Zapworks team hosted some great webinar sessions, our users and Zappar HQ team were working on (and launching) a multitude of great AR experiences for different use cases.

AR for Education: Unbnd - Billy Blue College AR Experience

Objective: Drive awareness and engagement with offered courses.

This WebAR experience informs school leavers of Billy Blue College of Design at Torrens University Australia’s courses in Branded Fashion, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Gaming, Artificial Intelligence, and Programming. Built using one of Zappar’s Universal AR SDKs, the experience visualizes the available courses as 3D worlds and each zone of the experience features a selection of work from students past and present.

AR for Print: Virtual Method - News Corp Australia Wildlife AR Showcase

Objective: Engage and inspire.

Zapworks users, Virtual Method, created this experience for News Corp in Australia. Using Zapworks new cloud image look-up function and instant tracking, the experience transforms the book’s double-page spread into an interactive experience, engaging users with (and teaching them about) wildlife.

AR for Education: Blake Fuller Payne - Mona Lisa AR

Objective: Increase engagement and share additional information.

This AR experience, built using Zapworks Designer, transforms a 2D poster of Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’ painting into a hub of information about the artist, his processes, and his most famous painting.

AR for Retail: Motorola One 5G Ace WebAR Salestool

Objective: Product visualisation

For the launch of their new phone, we teamed up with Motorola to create an experience around the new Motorola One 5G Ace. An instant world-tracked model of the phone can be placed in the room through WebAR, which can be opened to explore the key selling points of the phone including its design and camera quality.
