Magic Leap’s first developer conference, L.E.A.P. Con, is well under way, now in its second and final day. The company is livestreaming its keynote today, which will feature a number Magic Leap partners including speakers from Weta Workshop, AT&T, Unity, Epic Games, and ILMxLAB.

The keynote will take place October 10th at 9 AM PT (local time here).

Since this is the company’s first ever developer conference, we don’t quite know what to expect, although the company will likely detail some of their most important partnerships in content creation.

Speakers at today’s keynote include:

  • John Donovan – CEO of AT&T Communications, LLC
  • Richard Taylor – Co-Founder of Weta Workshop
  • Andy Serkis – Creator of The Imaginarium Studios
  • Timoni West – Director, XR Research, Unity Technologies
  • Robin Hunicke – Co-Founder of Funomena
  • Nick Whiting – Technical Director / Studio Head, Epic Games
  • Shrenik Sadalgi – Director of Next Gen Experiences, Wayfair
  • Vicki Dobbs Beck – Executive in Charge, ILMxLAB
  • Aviad Almagor – Director of Mixed Reality, Trimble, Inc.

fuck the ML. this is 100% selling fake dreams and bullshit.
“The possibilities are infinite” if that infinite then i should just shoot myself cause i’m never going to be impressed….
I’ve never seen a pile of shit being pushed as gold so hard before. ML acts like theyv’e revolutionized and brought new tech into the industry, and they simply haven’t brought anything new to the table. Every bit of hardware used in that headset was tested and created in someone elses r&d department.

i’m literally offended by how stupid they assume we all are. ML thinks they have us wrapped around their finger in belief of thier tech, but anybody whos used the ML or dug into the facts quickly realizes its just another Hololense.
