Sony Highlights 30+ New PSVR Games Arriving Before E3

We’re three months away from E3 2018, which is where we’d expect to get our next big update on what’s in store for Sony’s PlayStation VR (PSVR) headset in the year ahead. But, as Sony pointed out last week, there’s a lot to come before the big show.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony’s Justin Massongill highlighted more than 30 games that are set to hit PSVR in the next three months, notably before its E3 showing. There are some big names in the list, including this week’s launch of dinosaur sim Ark Park, the newly-announced Crisis on the Planet of the Apes and the long-awaited PSVR port of Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, arriving April 10th.

The list also confirms some release windows and even announces some new ports. On the release side, we should be getting big games like Killing Floor: Incursion, Smash Hit Plunder and Xing: The Land Beyond within the next few months. When it comes to ports, Rift and Vive games like The Perfect Sniper, Syren and Just in Time Inc. are all confirmed to be coming to the platform soon, too.

Overall it’s a surprisingly robust list (though the absence of Golem, which was recently delayed, is a little disappointing). We’ll have plenty to keep us busy during the long wait for E3, then, and hopefully Sony is holding some Skyrim/Resident Evil 7-level surprises for this year’s show.
