HTC Announces ‘Vive Focus’ Standalone VR Headset

Today during the Vive Developers Conference in Beijing, HTC revealed the Vive Focus, a standalone VR headset with inside-out positional tracking. The headset is positioned for the Chinese market. Update (11/14/17): HTC has confirmed to Road to VR that the company is cancelling plans to bring a Daydream-based version of the Vive Focus headset to Western markets, including the US and Europe.

OpenSim land area grew by the equivalent of 3,905 standard regions last month, a new record high of 88,225 regions. This was despite the fact that several large grids have stopped publishing land area stats, including InWorldz , Great Canadian Grid , and The Adult Grid. ‘Payday 2’ VR Beta Now Available, Supporting Cross-play with Desktop Players

The beta is free, and will see updates in discrete phases, the first of which is now available for owners of the game.
