‘Star Wars Pinball VR’ Arrives On Major VR Headsets This April

The game will feature eight tables based on The Mandalorian, Rebels, and the original trilogy.

Zen Studios, the developer behind the classic Pinball FX series, today revealed that its long-running Star Wars Pinball game is heading to Oculus Quest, SteamVR, and PlayStation VR headsets this April, offering fans the chance to go hands-on with eight unique pinball machines, each of which based on a different film or show from the franchise.

In addition to two brand new machines, The Mandalorian and Star Wars Classic Collectable, Star Wars Pinball VR will feature six remastered tables from the original, including Star Wars: A New HopeStar Wars: The Empire Strikes BackStar Wars: Return of the JediRogue One: A Star Wars StoryStar Wars Rebels, and Masters of the Force. So whether you’re a fan of the prequels or an original trilogy purist, you’re guaranteed to find a table that’s just right for you. There’s even a “Total Immersion Mode” which lets you experience the action at table level.

In between rounds of pinball, you can customize your own personal Star Wars “fan cave” using unlockable items and decorations. This includes various helmets, lightsabers, and other recognizable objects from the Star Wars universe. Once you’ve selected a table to play, the room automatically surrounds you with life-sized characters and vehicles, such as flying speeder bikes and deadly AT-ST’s, further immersing you in the arcade experience. The developer also teases force powers which can be used to “power up your play”

In addition to pinball, you can also partake in a handful of 360-degree minigames, including a duel with Darth Vader himself. Or just kick-back and enjoy the music of John Williams via the cantina jukebox.
