Fallout 4 VR's Blur Issues Fixed In Steam Beta Update

Those of you having troubles with blurriness and low-resolution textures in Bethesda’s just-released Fallout 4 VR are in luck; the developer appears to have fixed the issue.

The game, which launched yesterday with HTC Vive support, ports the entire original role-playing game (RPG) into VR, but many users have been reporting that the world around them appears blurry inside the headset. We even noted the textures looked ‘smeared’ in our full review.

Bethesda just published a fix for this specific issues for the game’s beta version. All you need to do is find Fallout 4 VR in your Steam library, right click and go to Properties, then hit the Betas tab and select ‘Fallout 4 VR Update 1.0.28.0’. Once it’s downloaded your problems should be solved, but keep in mind this is just a beta and thus it may bring other unforeseen issues. If you run into anything then let Bethesda know on the official support forums.

Well, the wasteland should be a little bit brighter by now. Time to jump back in.
