And we’re off! E3 2017 unofficially starts today with EA Play, the company’s annual media showcase. We’re streaming the show from 12pm PDT/3pm EDT below.
EA has a busy year coming up and we’re not sure how big of a role VR will play in it. We know the company’s set to release Star Wars: Battlefront 2 at the end of the year, and recent rumors have suggested that we’ll be seeing some kind of PlayStation VR (PSVR) support for the game. Other than that? It’s anyone’s guess; EA has remained pretty non-committal about fully supporting VR over the past few years, but with Criterion already working on a Star War experience and a renewed focus on indie development, anything’s possible.
