Sports, and indirectly Football, has benefitted from recent improvements in training and education that have come about through Virtual and Augmented Reality. Whether the goal is to bring a general awareness to football or simply focus on training elements of the game, Virtual and Augmented Reality are the keys success, especially when it comes to preventing injuries by improving the health of players, and engaging with fans at a Stadium remotely in a unique way.

Football is one of the most popular sports around the globe, with many players involved in a daily training routine. To achieve accurate results safely and in a short space of time, Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies provide innovative and immersive, hands-on learning and practice. Players are able to use these technologies in their daily field-training, as well as during their travels.

Sports experiences can be viewed anywhere with mobile Virtual Reality technology and headsets like Zeiss VR ONE and Google Cardboard.

EON Reality’s Virtual Reality simulations provide a unique opportunity to enhance existing training in a safe and effective way through careful planning, analysis, and implementation. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the first NFL Team to introduce the Virtual Reality Simulation software for American Football called SIDEKIQ, developed by EON Sports VR. SIDEKIQ has demonstrated significant results in terms of continuous training off of the field and has benefited the team and quarterback Jameis Winston.

EON Manchester Interactive Digital Center (IDC) serves as EON’s European Headquarters and its state of the art Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies, development lab, and artistic resources help meet the growing global demand for VR/AR.
