Tetris Effect is a single-player adaptation of Tetris for the modern era, boasting support for both PS4 Pro and PSVR. Sony now says the game is heading to the PlayStation store on November 9th, 2018.

Tetris Effect pre-orders are also now available, retailing at a 10% discount off the full MSRP of $40.

The game, which includes 30+ stages and 10+ modes, was created by Monstars and Enhance, the minds behind Rez Infinite (2001) and its more recent VR adaptations.

As you’d expect, Tetris Effect promises a sound a light show, the game is being branded an “incredibly addictive, unique, and breathtakingly gorgeous reinvention.”

Tetris is not what will make this game standout. Tetsuya Mizuguchi and his dev team are the real selling point here. They can’t make a bad game.

Man, I’m impressed with how many significant games are coming to PSVR at this point. Great stuff, Sony. I just hope most of them also come to the other VR headsets too.
